OK. The Statesman Journal is running their Best of the Mid-Valley vote. I had no idea, but I’m currently listed in the Photography section at this page: StatesmanJournal.com | Best of the Mid-Valley 2009 . I hadn’t even thought about it. But then I remember they’ve used my photos for the front cover and inside their weekend section.
I don’t know if you have to be local to vote. But I’d surely appreciate it if you’d try, and spread the word. Of course, if you think I suck, no problem there. Probably then I’d rather you didn’t vote.
UPDATE:It’s been brought to my attention that this is not a one computer/one vote contest. But rather a person can vote again on a daily basis – one vote each day until the voting ends. Not really that interesting then. I want to thank everyone who has voted for me. And of course you’re welcome to continue, I do appreciate it. But what began as a potential exercise to increase exposure for my commercial photography, seems to be an oddly organized, time-intensive, access to the most computers clicking contest. Kind of an awkward way to award the ‘Best of’ designation.
