Dinner at Straight from New York Pizza. As much as he likes the pizza, it’s the lollipops.

Then over the new pedestrian bridge across the Willamette River for his favorite activity of all – throwing rocks into the water.

I went a few days without shaving, while in Minnesota, and Liam decided I should keep it. Going on almost 2 weeks now & the bloody thing is itching me to no end, and I’m not sure it’s going to last much longer. So I thought I’d document my frustration using photobooth on my macbook while at my office:

From the iPhone:

Maybe if it had been Fall…
This long weekend was filled with some ups & downs – a few too many downs, actually. We were hoping to get some yard work and other tasks done. But last night (Saturday), Liam started to vomit just after going to bed. Linda Blair vomiting. So not much sleep in our household. Needless to say, we didn’t get much done on our to-do list. So here’s some photos of some pretty flowers (yeah, that’ll make a difference):

With all the work that Jeani (& Liam) put into the yard and garden, it really needs to be documented at times. Plus sometimes you just need to take a photo of a pretty flower.
Liam wanted to take some photos after we did some yard work today. I’ll put up some of his photos after I’ve had a chance to download them. He also directed me as to which flowers I was to photograph. For Liam, Jeani & my Mom:
and maybe even laugh. As Tuesdays are becoming the new Mondays lately, I thought this might a nice pick-me-up. Ignore the mess, we just finished lunch and hadn’t picked up, yet.
So Liam was given a piggy-bank recently. I now find him rifling through my pants pockets looking for change. He’s happy with the paper money, too.
Liam has decided to try his hand at photography, and to turn the tables on Daddy. Liam is 2 and a half years old.

Liam’s critical reaction! But not to the composition, but rather the subject matter.

See what he saw
Jeani had a late meeting, so Liam and I had dinner at Kim Huong – one of our fave restaurants.

Our good friend, Jenny (Alex’s Mom), reads to Liam and Alex on Liam’s new ‘big boy’ bed. Yes, Liam just got a haircut.
