David & Darwin
Just cuz I wanted to see it again, and a bit bigger this time. And yes, I know it goes over into my menu bar… but I’m just waiting until it works its way down past the menu bar on the right….and then I can see it at a decent size…and then that’ll make me happy….that reminds me – I need to widen this design…the photos always have to be too small…

Rocket Scientist
Meet Jack, I did. Had a couple of beers together, and while talking, I learned he’s an honest to god, rocket scientist (retired). How cool is that?!?

Salem Music Project photos
These photos are part of a larger project about local music and some of the insanely talented musicians around here. While a few get their props, too often many play to empty houses. Yet they continue, practice & perform. This night featured award-winning musician and producer Mark Lemhouse & Friends. There was maybe 8 people that attended to specifically see Mark, The Nettles, & The Cherry City Deadbeats.

One half of The Union

One half of The Union, Jared Blume (myspace page). The other half? Jaysen Peters (not pictured, myspace page). Two young local artists that collaborate on drawings, illustrations, and other artwork.
These last couple of days have had a million little annoyances and frustrations, so I made sure I packed along my camera when I walked downtown for lunch today. Stopped by The Coffee House Cafe and spotted Jared working, so I decided to grab a shot. Having the camera in my hands often goes a long way to lift my spirits, and today was no different. Plus talking with Jared & Jaysen is always enjoyable.

Just messin’ around
Some of the kids hangin’ out in my office. A nice break from some of my more mundane tasks. They’re quite use to the fact that I have my camera around most of the time.
